Fugitive nabbed in Arizona brought back here to face felony charge
Nicholas Matthew Wolf, a Tier 1 Megan’s Law offender (convicted of low-risk sexual offenses), has been brought back here from Arizona by the U.S. Marshals Service to face a felony charge of failing to register with state police when he changed his addresses and employers this past summer, it was alleged in an affidavit filed at the office of District Judge Denise Dieter. Lycoming Regional police, who filed the charge, allege that Wolf, 23, relocated from the 400 block of Broad Street in Jersey Shore to the 100 block of Arch Street in the borough without notifying state police within three business days. It was also alleged that he changed his employer from a Milton business to a city firm without notifying state police as he is required to do so by law. When he was brought before Dieter last week, Wolf told her that he wasn’t living in Jersey Shore, but in the 900 block of Mulberry Street in Montoursville. Wolf remains incarcerated in lieu of $100,000 bail.
