Christopher Leonard, 41, of 3175 Cleman Hollow Road, Unityville, has been charged with simple assault after he pointed a handgun at his wife during an argument in the 6700 block of Route 118 in Franklin Township about 11:50 p.m. on Sept. 30, state police alleged in an affidavit. Following his arraignment before District Judge Gary Whiteman, Leonard was initially jailed, but has since been released on $7,500 bail.
