James N. Carr, 22, of 61 Tyler Lane, Cogan Station, has been charged with accidents involving damage to attended vehicle (hit-run) and five summary violations after he crashed his motorcycle, striking the front of another vehicle on Warrensville Road in Loyalsock Township about 6:30 p.m. on April 14, but fled the scene in another vehicle, state police alleged in court papers. His father told police he picked up his son and took him to the hospital, but the medical facility had no record that Carr was brought there, police said. When questioned by police the next day, Carr admitted to a trooper that he had fled the scene without exchanging information with the other driver. He has waived his preliminary hearing before District Judge Gary Whiteman and is free on $5,000 bail.
