Warrior Run crowned four District 4 South Sectional champions on Saturday to lead the area while Lewisburg had a pair of silver medalists.

Chase Wirnsberger pinned Midd-West’s Lane Yount in 3:27 at 114. The Defenders would win three straight bouts from 160-189.

At 160, Reagan Milheim, ranked No. 2 in the state, earned a 17-2, 3:55 tech fall against No. 26th-ranked Chase Pensyl of Shamokin. No. 4 Max Wirnsberger pinned No. 15 Chase Wenrich of Lewisburg at 172 in 3:07 and at 189, it was Tyler Ulrich, ranked No. 9 in the state, securing a 19-3, 3:35 tech fall over No. 25 Max Johnson of Line MOuntain.

Lewisburg’s Landon Michaels, ranked NO. 30 in the state, fell by tech fall to No. 4th-ranked Bradley Wagner of Mifflinburg, 19-4, 3:18.

Lewisburg’s Nolan Altoft and Warrior Run’s Isaiah Betz were the only two area wrestlers at the South Sectional to claim bronze medals. Altoft pinned Milton’s Aiden Twigg in 1:54 at 121 and at 215, Betz, ranked No. 21 in the state, earned a tough 7-4 decision against Line Mountain’s Jacob Schwalm.

Lewisburg’s Landen Wagner was a fourth-place finisher at 152 when he fell to No. 13th-ranked Dalton Schadel, 4-1, SV. Wagner is ranked No. 16.

Taking home fifth-place medals were Lewisburg’s Rone Beachey at 114, Lewisburg’s Ethan Long at 145, Milton’s Chase Lytle at 152 and Milton’s Lucas HOllenbach at 139.
