Jersey Shore swept Central Columbia in a dual meet in swimming. The girls won, 94-75, while the boys secured a 101-24 victory.

Jersey Shore’s Kate Butzler and Reese Charney were both two-time winners for the Bulldogs in the dual meet.

Butzler swam a time fo 30.64 to win the 50 free, winning the event by four seconds over second-place finisher and teamate Rhian Prowell. Butzler then won the 100 fly with a time of 1:17.23, besting Charlotte Monahon of Central Columbia by six seconds.

Charney won the 200 free with a time of 2:24.02, winning by just over two seconds against Monahon. In the 400 free, Charney swam a time of 5:12.99 to win the race by roughly 17 seconds over Central Columbia’s Leyna Beishline.

In the 100 free, Shore’s Aaralynn Kimble won in 1:08.20, edging Madelyn Kepner of Central Columbia by just two seconds in a close race down the stretch.

Jersey Shore’s Macy Wilton was a second-place finisher in the 200 IM event with a time of 2:54.98, behind only Central’s Sherry Oh (2:47.05). Wilton also took third in the 400 free in 5:35.28.

Jersey Shore’s girls 200 medley relay team of Kate Butzler, Charney, Aralynn Kimble and Lila Nestlerode also earned a win by swimming a time of 2:17.73, winning the relay by seven seconds.

The Bulldogs’ girls 200 free relay team of Jazzlyn Jolin, Rhian Porwell, Caitlin Ross and Makayla Wrench took second in 2:21.16.

Jersey Sgore’s boys 200 medley relay team were second-place finishers with a time of 2:28.34 with the foursome of Nathan Grant, Dylan Hensler, Jayden Passetti and Ezra Paulhamus.
