Montgomery junior Brandt Harer continued his unbeaten season by reaching the first-place finals at the Neil Turner Memorial Tournament at 139 pounds and winning easily for the title. The Red Raider defeated Salesianum’s Santino Sianni by tech fall, 15-0, 1:34 to move to 15-0.

Harer was one of numerous locals who saw success in the tournament.

Montgomery’s Manny Stoltzfus was a runner-up at 107 after he lost an extremely tough contest to Mifflin County’s Andrew Alexander by decision, 3-2.

At 189, Montgomery’s Coy Bryson finished fourth after losing a touch match by decision to Tanner Rock of Littlestown, 5-3. North Penn-Liberty’s Brayden Peqiugnot took home a third-place finish at 127 when he pinned Montgomery junior Carden Wagner in 4:48.

Liberty’s Bryce Pequignot was a champion at 114 when he defeated Radnor’s Jayden Lee by decision, 7-3. Montgomery’s Liam Seeley took fourth at 114 when he lost by decision to Penn Manor’s Caden Boland, 8-2.

Riley Oakes of Liberty was also a finalist, taking fourth at 160. Oakes lost by decision to Shikellamy’s Cole Wetzel, 7-3.

Montgomery’s Max Furman III was a fifth-place finisher at 152 by winning via injury time over Delaware Military Academy’s Charles Perrin.

At 121, Canton’s Lyle Vermilya finished fifth as the senior defeated Aaden Schiefer of Central York by decision, 4-1 SV-1. Jersey Shore’s Camden Baker, a junior, was an eighth-place finisher after he lost via tech fall to Conestoga Valley’s NIck Horton, 18-0, 1:41.
