Two goals in a seven-minute span helped the Loyalsock boys soccer team defeat South Williamsport, 2-1. Emmanuel Oyenusi and Gavin Grieco both scored for the Lancers in the 61st and 68th minutes, respectively. Josh Lynn scored off an assist by Carter Sullivan in the first half to give the Mounties an early lead.

Jersey Shore scored three second-half goals en route to an exciting 3-2 win against Sullivan County. Jack Breining scored twice for Jersey Shore and Rylan Bowers had a goal. Dylan Hensler and Breylan Guerrero each had assists.

The Griffins’ goals came from Dom Marotti off a Colin King assist and from Blaze Fitzgerald.

• Loyalsock’s Lauren O’Malley scored twice to help the Lancers defeat rival Montoursville, 2-1, in overtime in girls soccer in an exciting game. Adara Whitehead assisted on both of Loyalsock’s goals.

Montoursville’s Kenna Benett scored in the second half to tie the game.

Montoursville out-shot Loyalsock, 17-7, as Loyalsock keeper McKenna Daniels recorded 12 saves. The win moves the Lancers to 3-5.

Williamsport earned a 7-0 shutout win against Jersey Shore. Alaina Fetherbay scored twice for the Millionaires while both Jaelynn Helmrich and Deborah Shultz had two assists and a goal each. Ella Ballard was in goal for the shutout with two saves.

Raygan Lust sank two penalty kicks to give Warrior Run an exciting 2-1 win against Bloomsburg. Lust’s first PK came 2 minutes, 43 seconds into the game before she recorded her second in the 72nd minute.

Central Columbia, the defending two-time PIAA Class AA champions, cruised past Central Mountain on the road in a league game, 18-0. The Blue Jays led 11-0 at the half. Haley Bull scored five goals and had five assists for the Blue Jays. Bull reached 100 goals for her career on Saturday and is at 105 and counting.

• In girls tennis, Williamsport defeated Central Mountain, 5-0. Kayla Block defeated Ellie Harry at No. 1 singles, 6-2, 6-2 and at No. 2 singles, Gabby McQuillen earned a 2-6, 6-1, 6-3 win over Molly Dubbs.

In doubles action, Eden Huff and Peyton Kelley won at No. 1 doubles, 6-3, 6-0 and Maddy Lundy and Shyla Montoya won at No. 2 doubles for the Millionaires, 6-2, 6-2, against Leah Wian and Tess Akeley.

Loyalsock to fell Central Columbia, 4-1. Gia Biacchi won the Lancer’ lone match at No. 2 singles when she defeated Natalia Taylor, 7-6 (7-5), 6-4. Loyalsock’s Caroline Crawford lost at No. 1 singles to Rihanna Baker in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 6-0.

South Williamsport moved to 6-2 by defeating Danville in a close contest, 3-2. South swept the doubles competition.

Mylee Morrison and Sidney Ertel beat Elyse Sparh and Cassie Shellenberger, 6-2, 5-7, 6-2 and at No. 2, Morgan Ertel and Ava Foote beat Hazel Gatski and Sanah Bhanushali, 6-7 (3), 6-3, 6-3.

In singles action, South’s Emily Holtzapple won at No. 3 singles over Alexa Preisz, 6-3, 7-5.

Bloomsburg defeated Muncy, 3-2. Taylor Shannon won at No. 2 singles in straight sets, 6-0, 6-0, for the Indians over Sienna Fritsky and Alyssa Krepinevich won at No. 3 singles by forfeit.
