Where’s my congressman?

I have questions for Congressman Glenn Thompson, but can’t find when he’s available to take questions. I’d like to know his thoughts on Trump’s goal to annex Canada, Greenland, and the Panama Canal by force if necessary. I’d like to know his thoughts about Musk gutting veterans’ services and laying off half the VA’s workforce. Also, what’s his stand on NATO and destroying our global alliances, as well as his party’s plan to eliminate the Department of Education, privatize the post office and eliminate medical research grants?

I called Congressman Thompson’s office 4 times over the past two months to ask when his next public town hall is scheduled. I was told he had none scheduled, but I could be added to a list if he decides to hold a telephone town hall. Questions would have to be submitted in advance though so he could decide which ones to answer. I asked when the last public town hall was, and the staff person couldn’t remember. Frankly, I can’t recall our Congressman ever holding an in-person public town hall. Hopefully, an enterprising news reporter could find out, or maybe someone who will run for the seat should schedule town halls and invite Mr. Thompson. If he chooses not to attend, at least his constituents will have an opportunity to express their thoughts.

It appears that Congressman Thompson is afraid of both his constituents and Donald Trump. That’s a tough spot to be in.
