Val. S. Mutchler

Val S. Mutchler, 74, of Muncy, passed away on March 9, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born in East Stroudsburg, he is survived by his wife, Petra Mutchler; his children, Heather Mutchler, Sonia Mutchler, and Jessica (Michael) Snyder and grandchildren, Tiana, Dominic, Lyla, and Grayson. He is also survived by his three sisters, Rose, Maureen, and Chrissy.

An avid outdoorsman, Val found his greatest joy in hunting, fishing, and crabbing, often spending serene days in the back creeks of Fortescue, NJ.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Val’s life at the New Mountain Tavern in Montgomery, Pa, on Saturday, March 22, at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in his memory to Ducks Unlimited (www.ducks.org).
