John E. Cupp

John E. Cupp, 77, of Williamsport, died Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at UPMC Williamsport.

Born June 2, 1947, in Jersey Shore, he was a son of the late Jack E. and Nancy (Showers) Cupp.

John graduated from Milton Hershey High School, class of 1965. After graduation, he went to work for Frito-Lay as a packer, where he retired after 38 years. John enjoyed making Christmas decorations, gardening, and caring for his tropical fish and catfish. John was also an avid yardsaler, always on the hunt for the best deal.

Surviving are his three sons, Robert G. Cupp, Cory G. Cupp (Sharon) all of Williamsport, and Rusty G. Cupp (Tina), of South Williamsport; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one on the way; a brother, Wayne Cupp, of Harrisburg, and a sister, Penny Lee Vanderlin, of Williamsport.

In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no services.
