Terrance “Terry” Klemick

Terrance “Terry” Klemick, 84, of Montgomery, Pennsylvania passed away Monday, January 20, 2025, at home, surrounded by his family. Born September 16, 1940, in Mahoning Township, Pa., he was a son of the late Donna (Knoedler) Klemick. He married the former Eileen Kreppenneck on July 14, 1961, and shared 63 loving years together.

Terry loved anything involving mechanics and carpentry. He was known as a “creative inventor” by his family, as he was always devising makeshift tools and gadgets. He also enjoyed attending car shows, where he could often be found showing off his beloved Ford McLaren. He valued the time he spent with his loved ones, whether he was having afternoon coffee with the neighbors, playing games with his family, or feeding the neighborhood pets while on his daily walks. Terry was previously employed as a machinist for Young Industries until his retirement in 2004. However, his greatest job was helping to care for his granddaughters. His grandchildren were his world.

In addition to his wife, Eileen Klemick of Montgomery, Terry is survived by his son, Mark Klemick of Elkland, Pa.; his daughter, Lori (Kenneth) Mitchell of Mansfield, Pa.; three grandchildren, Casey (Abbie) Dinnison, Matthea Mitchell, and Tessa Mitchell; and one great-grandson, Mitchell Dinnison.

Terrance was preceded in death by his mother and maternal grandparents, Charles and Ethel Knoedler, who helped in raising him.

Memorial Service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at St. John’s Lutheran Brick Church, 196 Brick Church Road, Montgomery, Pa., 17752 with Minister James Girven officiating. A luncheon will follow the service.
