Jean A. Boroch

Jean A. Boroch, 83, of Williamsport died Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the Williamsport Home.

Born December 18, 1940 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late John H. and Audrey B. Snyder Fischer.

Jean was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School. She was a secretary at Bishop Neumann High School and owned and operated Jeannie’s Ceramic Studio in Williamsport. Jean was an avid BINGO player. Jean was a member of the Women’s Club and the Williamsport Country Club where she enjoyed playing golf. Jean was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church.

She is survived by her four sons, Keith (Diane) of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Kevin (Susan) of Gibsonia, Tony (Cynthia) of Montoursville and Jerry (Cynthia) of Milford; a sister, Mary McFadden; grandchildren Thomas Boroch (Meredith), Brendan Boroch, Alexandra Magda (Eric), Ryan Boroch, Courtney Petrowski (Kyle), Austin Boroch, Alivia Confer (Nick), Christopher Boroch (Giovana), Kate Boroch; step-grandchildren, Kenneth Bower (Angela), Brandee Stroble, Danica Cartwright and Noah Reeves; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Paxton, Emma, Gabrielle, Blaze, Reece, Wyatt, Aubree, Aiden, Kendell, Addilyn, Beau, Caleb, Mary, Hannah, Silas and Tate.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Anthony Boroch; brothers, Donald, Herman, Robert, John, Raymond, Joseph and Frederick Fischer and a sister, Audrey “Sis” Ulsamer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28 at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 326 Washington Blvd., Williamsport with Rev. Shawn M. Simchock, officiating. There will be a viewing Sunday evening from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave. Williamsport. Burial will be in St. Boniface Cemetery.
