Atwood L. Welker, Jr

Atwood L. Welker, Jr. passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at Valley View Rehab & Nursing Center. His wife Betty Kautter Welker passed away on November 14, 2020.

He was born on December 9, 1937 in Shamokin and was the son of Atwood L. and Arlene Reick Welker. Ats was a graduate of Shamokin High School and Lehigh University. He worked as a civil engineer with PennDOT for 30 years. Ats was a sports enthusiast enjoying Penn State sports. He enjoyed gardening but most of all his family.

He is survived by a son, Mark (Michelle) Welker; a daughter, Judy (Ron) Frick both of Williamsport; four grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

Services will be private and at the convince of the family.
