California man jailed for alleged sexual relations with Loyalsock Township minor

West Coast resident Marvin Isaac Dagoc and a 14-year-old Loyalsock Township girl first met online, and then the two soon began exchanging text messages with one another as Dagoc began “making plans to visit’ the teen, according to a state police affidavit.

Initially he told the girl he was 17, police said.

Described in court Wednesday by a state trooper as an alleged “child predator,” Dagoc, 27, of Lakeside, California, a suburb of San Diego, flew to Pennsylvania and checked in at a local hotel on or about March 12, police said.

During the next six days, he and the teenage girl engaged in sexual relations on multiple occasions inside Dagoc’s hotel room, police alleged in the affidavit.

Using a tripod to support his cellphone, Dagoc “recorded all” of their sexual acts on the phone, police were told.

The girl told police that during the sexual activity, “she told Dagoc to stop, but he would tell her that she could go longer,” it was alleged in the court document.

On at least one occasion, Dagoc had sex with the girl in a vehicle, police alleged.

Dagoc, who was arrested at the

Philadelphia International Airport, faces nearly 60 criminal charges, including six counts each of statutory sexual assault, involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, unlawful contact with a minor, aggravated indecent assault, sexual assault, indecent assault, corrupting the morals of a minor, indecent exposure plus 10 counts each of videoing a minor engaging in sexual acts and one count of rape.

Following his arraignment before District Judge William Solomon, Dagoc was committed to the Lycoming County Prison on no bail.

Starting at $2.99/week.
