Coroner identifies man killed in single-vehicle crash on Route 405 near Montgomery
MONTGOMERY — The driver who was killed Thursday afternoon when his 2011 Mazda CX7 went off Route 405, rolled down a 40-foot embankment, landing on its roof has been identified as Robert Bryant, 38, of Shamokin, according to state police.
Lycoming County Coroner Charles E. Kiessling Jr. pronounced Bryant dead at the scene of head trauma and chest compression injuries.
The crash occurred just about 200 feet from the Lycoming-Northumberland county line at 2:50 p.m., police said.
