Fugitive who briefly evaded Williamsport police on a motorcycle arraigned on several charges

City police prepare to take fleeing motorcyclist and fugitive Jason Yahn to police headquarters just minutes after he crashed his bike at Memorial Avenue and Grier Street late Wednesday afternoon. Formerly of McGill Hollow Road, Yahn, 42, now homeless, refused to stop when an officer tried to pull him over. Yahn, wanted on several bench warrants, was arraigned on charges of flight to avoid apprehension and related offenses plus possession of a bag of methamphetamine. He was jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.
