Williamsport man jailed on child endangerment charge
Aaron Michael Williams, 30, of 617 Second St, has been arrested on charges on of endangering the welfare of a child and simple assault for “picking up a 10-year-old child by her head, shaking her and then throwing her to the ground” during a disturbance at his home about 9:30 a.m. on Dec. 26, city police alleged in an affidavit. Following his arraignment before Biichle, Williams was committed to the Lycoming County Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail.
