3 face drug charges in separate cases

Richard Allen Johnson, 41, of 1035 Mulberry St., has been charged with two felony counts each of delivery of a controlled substance, illegal use of a communication device and conspiracy for his alleged involvement in sales of cocaine to informants in the 1200 block of West Fourth Street in the city on May 21 and May 22, according to court records filed by the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit (NEU). Following his arraignment before District Judge Christian Frey, Johnson was released on $25,000 bail.

In another case, Trista Marie Yarger, 30, of 459 Lower Grays Run Road, Trout Run, has been charged with two felony counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and illegal use of a communication device for selling methamphetamine from her home to an informant on June 12 and July 11, state police alleged in an affidavit. Following her arraignment before District Judge William Solomon, Yarger was initially jailed, but has since been released on $50,000 bail.

In another case, Randy Allen Wright, a 34-year-old homeless man, has been charged with possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) in the 1500 block of West Fourth Street in the city on Sept. 11, according to the county’s narcotics unit. He remains jailed in lieu of $2,500 bail.
