Each year, the Lycoming Law Association (LLA) gives the Thomas Wood, Jr. Equal Access to Justice Award to a member who has gone above and beyond to donate their time, knowledge, and skills to represent indigent people in Lycoming County, pro bono.

The recipient of the LLA’s 2024 Thomas Wood, Jr. Equal Access to Justice Award is Matthew Diemer. Since passing the bar in 2020 Diemer has taken 24 pro bono cases referred by North Penn Legal Services. His pro bono clients say that he fights hard for them and makes them feel heard, both in and outside of the courtroom.
