When state constable arrived at Heather Lee Hulslander’s mobile home at 140 Bittner Park Road in Lewis Township about 7:50 a.m. on June 24, no one answered, but the constable was sure he heard voices inside the trailer and moments later he saw a child look out a window, according to a state police affidavit. He soon found three children under 7 abandoned in the home, police said. He told police he was there at least 15 minutes before the children’s mother returned home. Hulslander 30, claimed she was gone for just five minutes, police added. Following her recent arraignment before District Judge William Solomon on a felony charge of endangering the welfare of a child, Hulslander, now living in Milan, Bradford County, was released on $15,000 bail.
