Museum sponsors bus trip to Philly’s Barnes

The Taber Museum is sponsoring a bus trip to The Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia on May 3.

The Barnes includes artworks of Renoir, Cezanne, Matisse, Picasso, Van Gogh, Modigliani and so much more. According to a news release, the fee includes round-trip transportation, admission to The Barnes and a box lunch. The public is invited. There is no Taber member discount.

The bus service will leave Williamsport at 6 a.m. and will return back to Williamsport at about 10 p.m.

After touring and lunch, participants “will have the opportunity to remain at The Barnes or to visit one of the amazing attractions nearby” on foot, the news release said. “The Philadelphia Museum of Art and the Rodin Museum are within walking distance.”

The bus will leave promptly from the Barnes location at 5:30 p.m. Space is limited to 50 participants. A number of people have already signed up and so, “please do not delay in signing up if interested.”
