The best solution to avoiding the country's "fiscal cliff" is:

  1. Simply raise taxes on the top 10 percent of our income bracket - the rich.
  2. Simply cutting spending - there is billions being wasted right now and all Americans already are overtaxed.
  3. Raise more revenue by reforming the tax system, particlarly regarding deductions in the upper income brackets, and combine that with judicious but real spending cuts.
