MANSFIELD - Mansfield University will begin offering evening classes at the Towanda Center, 602 Main St., beginning in the fall semester.
The initial offering will be introductionto watershed management (WSM 1600) from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays begining Aug. 27.
This introductory three-credit natural science course, taught by assistant professor Jennifer Demchak, explores important processes, concepts and approaches to watershed management and assessment.
Topics will include delineation of watersheds, movement of surface and sub-surface water and the interaction of water, land and biota.
