Much has been made of the difference between Democrats and Republicans. It looks like fun, so I think I'll give it a try.
When Democrats see poor people, they build low income housing; when Republicans see poor people, they build high income jobs.
When Democrats see hungry people, they create the food stamp program; when Republicans see hungry people, they create high income jobs.
When Democrats see people making low pay, they pass a minimum wage; when Republicans see people making low pay, they pass incentives for creating high income jobs.
In short, when Democrats see a problem, they try to mitigate it; when Republicans see a problem they try to solve it.
When you give poor people money, they will spend it and still be poor. If you give poor people good jobs, they will never be poor again. Good jobs are the answer and not only will they eliminate poverty, but they will eliminate the government budget deficit.
The nerve of those heartless Republicans!
