What makes America exceptional? What has made America the most free and prosperous country in history? Capitalism and individualism are what make America great.
In a capitalist system, goods and services are distributed according to the laws of supply and demand. In contrast, socialism distributes goods by the decisions of government bureaucrats. In capitalism, rewards go to the individuals who work the hardest and produce the most.
Socialism robs from the hard working and gives to the "needy" as defined by the government.
Individualism is the second component that makes America exceptional. Collectivism has stalled the development of Asian countries such as China. Asian countries, however, are now catching on that individualism increases productivity and innovation.
Now more than ever America needs to return to individualist values. Just to compete with the juggernaut economies of China and India.
Leftists complain that individualism results in "mass inequality". They fail to realize that socialism ends in "mass poverty". Mass inequality is preferable to mass poverty. Socialism has always been unproductive. It does not work for anyone.
The policies of Barack Obama are collectivistic and socialistic. Obamacare steals from those who work hard to give to those in "need" as defined by government. Obama's system of entitlements gives people less incentive to be productive. Likewise, businesses are leaving the country because Obama and the Democrats tax them too much.
Republicans need to stop trying to sue and impeach Obama. We need to step up and win these next elections. Conservatives need to come together and strike down the socialist policies AFTER being elected to office. Divided we fall.
