Karina L. Bausinger, daughter of Tammy and William Bausinger, was named Turbotville Lions Club Student of the Month at Warriror Run High School for the month of May.
Bausinger is a member of French Club, Drama Club, student council, jazz band and the National Honor Society.
She also has been a member of the honor roll, her church softball team and has participated as a volunteer for the Turbotville Lions Club, helping at the food stand at the Lycoming County Fair.
She is employed by Great Valu.
Following graduation, she plans to attend Bloomsburg University and major in medical imaging. She plans to continue her education in radiation therapy, specializing with treatment of cancer patients.
Kaitlyn M. Bohannon, daughter of Tammy and David Bohannon, was named Outstanding Senior at Warrior Run High school for the month of May.
Bohannon is a member of Student Council, Spanish Club and Defender Pride Club and is the vice president of the National Honor Society and senior student representative for the school board.
She participates in marching band, concert band, concert choir, is a member of the cheerleading squad and competes in pole vault in track and field.
Bohannon also has participated in 4-H, Poetry Out Loud, Fort Freeland Heritage Days and is a volunteer and coach for Warrior Run Elementary wrestling.
She is an academic all-star and is a recipient of the Defender PRIDE Award and the Carolyn G. Fischer Citizenship Award.
Following graduation, she plans to attend Slippery Rock University.
Jenna Edmonds, daughter of Michele and Floyd Hudson, was selected by the faculty as the May Senior of the Month at South Williamsport Area High School.
Edmonds' activities include Band (9-12, drum major 12, secretary 11 and historian 10), chorus (9-12, historian 11), class of 2014 historian and Academic Decathlon (10-12). She is a former hostess at Hana Asian Bistro and former employee at Converge Art Gallery.
This year she was the winner of the Lycoming County Band Directors' Association Scholarship, Jaramillo Memorial Award, David M. Smith Memorial Scholarship, John Philip Sousa Band Award, National Multiple Sclerosis Society's Scholarship and Academic Decathlon Award.
Following graduation, Edmonds plans to attend Marywood University to pursue a degree in art therapy.
Jared K. McHenry, son of Jaime and James McHenry, was named Watsontown Lions Club Student of the Month at Warriror Run High School for the month of May.
McHenry is a member of the Robotics Club, Concert Choir and broke the school record in pole vaulting this year. He is employed by Bucknell Catering.
