Christian Women's Club to hold meeting
LEWISBURG - The information for the Tuesday meeting of the Christian Women's Club is as follows:
All women are invited to Brunch at the Country Cupboard Restaurant, at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Route 15. Music will be provided by Ryan and Amanda Brosious.
The program will feature "Share a Cup of Friendship" with Jo Muller of Home Instead Senior Care. The Guest Speaker will be Dee Billing of Allamuchy, New Jersey, presenting "Life Happens: A Cinderlla Story Interrupted by Life."
There will be a cost for the event, which includes complimentary childcare by reservation.

DAR Flag Day picnic to be held
The Lycoming Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will hold their annual Flag Day picnic at noon, Tuesday, at Indian Park, Montoursville.
The program will be presented by Mindelle Bartholomew, chapter registrar.
The hostesses will be Mary Orr, Mary Heverly and Margaret Fox.
The next meeting will be held Sept. 9.
Genealogical Society to hold program
The Clinton County Genealogical Society will feature a program about the history of Native Americans in Central Pennsylvania at 7 p.m. on June 10, at the Church of the Latter Day Saints, next to the State Police Barracks, on Route 64 in Mill Hall.
The keynote speaker for this program will be Bruce Teeple, local writer, historian, speaker and columnist for the Centre Daily Times.
Civil War Roundtable to hold meeting
Dallas, Pa.?- The Wyoming Valley Civil War Roundtable meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday in the lower level of the Daddow-Isaacs American Legion, 730 Memorial Highway.
The speaker for the evening will be Donald Holdridge of South Gibson, who will portray Emory Upton of the 121st New York. He will speak on abolition, West Point and the Battle of Spottsylvania Courthouse.
Robin Thompson will give a presentation about Lee's headquarters that was her home before the battle of Gettysburg.
The Roundtable is accepting new members. There will be a fee for non-members

Movie club to hold end-of-the-year party
The Canoton Kid's Movie Club end-of-the-year party will be held at 2 p.m Friday, at the Canton Green Free Library.
The movie showing will be "The Last Mimzy."
Each child will receive a prize ticket for each movie that they attended throughout the school year.
The number of entries will be based on the number of movie punches on their card.
The children attending will be able to put their ticket in a bucket designated for each prize and a drawing will take place to determine the winner of that prize.
All participants will receive a gift bag. No reservations are required.
