New member for bank's Blossburg local board
Randall E. Black, CEO and president of First Citizens Community Bank in Mansfield, has announced the appointment of Shane Nickerson to the Blossburg local board. Nickerson will serve as a direct link to what's going on in his community, and will allow the bank to further strengthen its partnership with the consumers and businesses in this area.
He is the owner of Nickerson Construction, and is a member of Blossburg V.I.B.E. He serves on the Blossburg Memorial Library Buildings and Grounds Committee; the Hamilton Gibson Artistic Planning Committee; and is a Democratic Committeeman. Shane resides in Blossburg with his wife, Jill and their three children.

Richard A. Grafmyre, president and CEO of Penns Woods Bancorp. Inc., holding company for Jersey Shore State Bank announced the promotions of two key employees.
Tammy Gunsallus was promoted to the position of chief retail lending officer, and Stephanie Oakes was named the company's chief deposit officer.
In addition to her duties as the chief retail lending officer, Gunsallus is the Jersey Shore State Bank central region president. With more than 31 years of banking experience, she is an active volunteer in the Lycoming County area. Gunsallus is a member of the Boards of the Jersey Shore Chamber and the Jersey Shore YMCA. She is a committee member of the Jersey Shore Source Water Committee and the Rivertown Revitalization Team of Jersey Shore, as well as a board member and secretary of the CHAD Gardens. She also volunteers with the Lycoming County United Way as the Jersey Shore business chairwoman and funds distribution committee member and is the treasurer for both the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and the Jersey Shore Public Library Endowment Committee.
Gunsallus is a graduate of the Pennsylvania Banker's Association's School of Banking, the PBA Advanced School of Banking and the PBA Commercial Lending School.
Oakes was promoted to chief deposit officer for the company. In her new position she is responsible for deposit growth by focusing on deposit products; working with business lines to set deposit goals; creating deposit initiatives; establishing a review process for existing business loans to evaluate commercial and personal deposit opportunities. Her new role is in addition to her position as vice president and commercial services manager.
Oakes is a graduate of Jersey Shore Area High School and holds a business administration degree from Penn State University. She also is a graduate of the PBA School of Banking and Advanced School of Banking, the Association of Financial Professionals Cash Management Fundamentals School, and the Williamsport/Lycoming Chamber of Commerce Leadership Lycoming program. She also holds certificates from Penn State University in small business management, business management, advanced business management, supervisory essentials.
Active in the community, she acts as a Volunteer Leadership Council member for the Lycoming County Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
She also is a funds distribution panel member for the Lycoming County United Way.

The Hartman Group announces the addition of Cynthia Sullivan to the Hartman team.
Sullivan is joining Hartman Employee Benefits wholesale team in Williamsport. She will be working as a customer service representative for the firm's downstream brokers, assisting with enrollments, claims resolution and quotations, according to a news release.
She recently came home to the Williamsport area after working with Nationwide Insurance as an insurance claim investigator and auto and homeowner liability specialist for the past 14 years. She also worked as the videographer for Comcast Spectator-Arenavision during Philadelphia Flyers and 76ers games. Sullivan also is an entrepreneur, redesigning thrift store finds into new dcor creations for resale. She spends most of her free time playing with her sons and enjoys painting and drawing.
Muncy business names month's employee
Michael Hogan was recently recognized as the March Employee of the Month at Construction Specialties Inc., Muncy.
According to a news release, his excitement and ability to communicate to the business's stakeholders made him an excellent choice to represent Construction Specialties at the 2013, Greenbuild International Conference and Expo, and he was instrumental in making the show a great success. Hogan also was recently selected as the product champion for the newly developed "Mats by Design" entrance flooring product and he will lead it through to a successful commercialization.
