LEWISBURG - Greater Susquehanna Valley United Way has created a student-led fundraiser that strives to create awareness and raise funds for solutions targeting local pressing social needs. "Stand United" will give students the opportunity to "stand" for programs and initiatives focused on six community-identified issues, known as United Way's Priorities For Impact, including public transportation, early childhood education, acceptance of diversity, drug and alcohol abuse and addiction, poverty and at-risk teens.
