PHILIP A. HOLMES/Sun-Gazette
Members of the city’s Streets and Parks Department were on the scene within minutes to clean up a traffic light standard that was knocked over when a car and a van collided at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Penn Street about 11:40 a.m. Monday. A woman driving the car was taken by ambulance to the Williamsport Regional Medical Center for injuries, city police said. No one was hurt in the van. The identities of those involved were not available Monday night.
