Spring Youth Trap Shooting League meets on April 6 and May 18, 50 targets each day. Shooters who want to be eligible for a trophy must shoot 200 targets by May 18; makeup dates are available. Eye and ear protection are required and available at no cost upon request. Shooting bags and a shotgun are available for use, on Keystone property only, upon request. Shooters must provide their own ammo and target fees. Youth shooters interested in competing as a team at the State Trapshooting Competition held in June at Elysburg can let Don Daughenbaugh know.

300-yard F-class/heavy varmint rifle shoots will be held May 25, June 29, July 27, Aug. 24 and Sept. 28. Sign-up at 9:30 a.m.; shoots start at 10. Cost is $10. Forty rounds, unlimited sighters, 30 minutes for each 20 rounds. Any centerfire rifle with power scope and muzzle brakes allowed. Two classes - Unlimited, shot from benches with adjustable front rest and rear bag; and tactical, shot from the group with front bipod and rear bag. Targets are two sheets with double bullseye; 20 shots per sheet; separate sighter target provided. Eye and ear protection required for shooters and spectators. Single shots only. Safety rules enforced.

Ladies 5-week program: Classroom training on firearms safety and handling as well as tactics in self-defense, in particular, dealing with home invasions. Participants must attend each date. Upcoming programs will be held Wednesdays from April 2-30 and Thursdays from April 3 to May 1.
Beginners Firearms Safety Course: Participants will learn how to safely load a firearm, safely unload a firearm, safe clearing procedures, basic pistol shooting skills, the differences between a revolver and semi-automatic pistol and how to shoot each one, and more. Three-hour classes will be held April 1, 5, 8, 15, 22, 29.
