Jared Kriner, son of Heather and Christopher Kriner, was named Loyalsock Township High School Student of the Month for September by the technology department.
Kriner has consistently achieved the honor roll and his favorite subjects are multimedia and English. He participates in SADD, Envirothon, is a member of the cross-country team and has served on the stage crew for various drama and musical productions.

Following graduation, he plans to attend DeSales University or Shippensburg University to major in either film and TV or communications.
Maren Mangisi, daughter of Caryn and Shane Mangisi, has been named Loyalsock Township High School Student of the Month for October by the math department.
Mangisi earned the highest GPA possible in math as a freshmen. Her favorite subjects include English and creative writing and she currently is taking a math course at Lycoming College. She also has taken coursework at Lyco CTC for drafting and design.
She has been a consistent member of the high honor roll and is involved in extra-curricular activities in school and the community including the musical, Seminary (scripture study group), Knight Music and the vocal women's music ensemble.
Following graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in petroleum engineering, possibly at a school in Texas.
Mangisi has participated in the Mormon Helping Hands efforts for Hurricane Sandy victims, tutored students in calculus is a community volunteer.
Mark Odorizzi, son of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Odorizzi, has been named Loyalsock Township High School Student of the Month for November by the English department.
Odorizzi has been a member of the high honor roll for four years. He is currently ranked first in the class of 2014 and is president of the National Honor Society.
His favorite subjects include math and science, but enjoys all subjects. He has lettered in varsity soccer and was captain of the team last season. He also was recognized as soccer freshman of year and lettered in varsity tennis for four years and placed in the PIAA District IV as doubles champion. He also was recognized as the most improved player in grade 10 and the most outstanding underclassman in grade 11.
He is active in EcoAct, president as a senior and secretary as a junior; Key Club, secretary as a senior; men's singing ensemble; jazz pianist; school musical pianist; and volunteer pianist for senior awards night.
Following graduation, he plans to attend a four-year university to major in architectural or civil engineering. He is very active in the school and community at large, in which he is a volunteer at St. Boniface Church as a member of the contemporary music ensemble, lector and he has worked for the church's annual carnival and ham dinner.
He has participated in Scouting for Food for 13 years and has been a volunteer pianist for Make a Wish Foundation for three years, raising more than $6,700.
Anna Hoffman, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Michael Hoffman, has been named Loyalsock Township High School Student of the Month for December by the social studies department.
Hoffman is a member of the National Honor Society and the high honor roll. Her favorite subjects include English and music.
Recently, Hoffman completed a SPACE internship at Donald E. Schick Elementary School in a classroom. She participates in several extra-curricular activities including Lancer Choir, president; an active participant in multiple LTHS musicals as a lead or supporting actress; Student Government; SADD; Christian Club; Women's Vocal Ensemble, leader; Knight Music; and Latter Day Saints congregation choir director.
Following graduation, she plans to attend Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and major in elementary education or early childhood education.
Hoffman also has participated and lettered in cross country, track and field and tennis. She is active in the community by serving as a Volunteen at The Meadows Assisted Living, an elementary school tutor, a participant in annual Mormon helping hands service projects and various NHS service opportunities in the community.
Jason Grove, son of Lynn and Kermit Grove, has been named Loyalsock Township High school Student of the Month for January by the business department.
Grove is taking a third accounting class at Loyalsock and enjoys math but sees himself focusing on business as a career in the future.
He has been a member of Spanish Club, Drama Club and Future Business Leaders of America and has placed at the state level in FBLA in accounting.
Following graduation, Grove plans on majoring in accounting and considering a minor as well at either Lycoming College or Bloomsburg University.
