Joan (Heaton) and Anthony Cipriani, of Williamsport, observed their 60th wedding anniversary Feb. 6, 2014.
They were married by the Rev. Dillon B. Grover in Bel Air, Md., and a ceremony was held later at the Church of Ascension.
They are members of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.
Mrs. Cipriani graduated from Williamsport High School and retired from Pennsylvania College of Technology.
Mr. Cipriani attended Williamsport High School and served in the Navy from 1953 to 1957. He retired from Roofers Union Local 30, where he has been a member for 50 years.
They are the parents of five sons, David, Scott, Keith and Alan, all of Williamsport, and Mark, of Colorado, and two daughters, Christine Fischer and Barbara Stetts, of Loyalsock.
There are 17 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
In honor of their anniversary, a dinner with their children was held on Feb. 8 at Red Lobster, and a trip in the spring is being planned.
