Katharine (Mahosky) and Berwyn Wilcox observed their 60th wedding anniversary Dec. 16, 2013.
They were married by the Rev. Flook at the United Methodist Church, English Center.
They are members of Bakerburg Community Church, Mainesburg.
Mrs. Wilcox was employed by Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, for two years, and then at the glass plant, Wellsboro. She was a remedial reading teacher and retired in 1995 from the Canyon Christian Academy as a teacher.
Mr. Wilcox served in the Army Medical Corps from 1953 to 1955, serving in Schabishall, Germany. He was employed by the state Department of Transportation as an equipment operator, and was employed by the Dresser Plant, after 36 years of service. He then was self-employed as a house remodeler.
They are the parents of two daughters, Pam and Barbara, both of Covington, and two sons, Peter John and Kerwyn, both of Stony Fork.
There are nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
