Kiwanis to sponsor chicken barbecue
MILL HALL - The Mill Hall Kiwanis will sponsor a chicken barbecue from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. tomorrow at Mill Hall Park.
There will be a fee for a meal that will include half chicken, baked beans, coleslaw and a roll and butter. The meal will be take out only. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Salvation Army.

Doll, bear and miniature show to be held
LAWRENCEVILLE?- A doll, bear and miniature show will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. tomorrow at the Lawrenceville Fire Department on Route 15.
A donation is requested and children under 12 are free. There will be a door prize, informal appraisals and lunch will be available.

Masons car show
WATSONTOWN - The Watsontown Masonic Lodge 410 will hold a pig roast and car/bike show from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the masonic pavilion, Eighth Street Drive.
A lunch buffet will be held from noon to 3 p.m. There is a fee to register each vehicle and for tickets.
There will be new classification categories, which will be judged by attendees.

MONTGOMERY - The Montgomery Area Historical Society will hold an event related to the history of the McNett family and the Radio Corral with doors opening at 12 p.m. Sunday at the Clinton Township Fire Co. Social Hall. The band will play at 2 p.m.

Couples ballroom dance class to be held
St. John's School of the Arts will offer a ballroom dance class for couples on Monday nights this fall. Beginner East Coast swing is offered from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Samba is offered from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Remaining class dates are Sept. 23, Sept. 30, Oct. 14, Oct. 28, Nov. 11, Nov. 18 and Nov. 25 at St. John's School of the Arts, 2101 Newberry St.

Cub and Boy Scouts to hold open house
