TROY The Missoula Children's Theatre (MCT) and more than 30 local students present an original musical adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson's epic novel "Treasure Island."
The local cast features: Caleb Cavanaugh as Jim Hawkins; Megan Borek as Mother Hawkins; and Emili Sterling, Piper Wisel, Moriah Burgett, Grace Moody, Abby Lewis, Paige Cotton and McKenzie Bellinger as the Jolly Roger Buccaneers.
Jim's four sisters are played by Madeline Jones, Sadie Rogers, Sarina Rogers and Sydney Wilcox.
Anna Lewis, Anthony Polakowski and Jackson Simpsonare are featured as his Jim's ruffian friends.
The cuddly gulls are played by Ben Osgood, Camlin Cavanaugh, Skip Lackey, Aaron Prouty, Alexander Burgett, Izzie Culkin, Elle Vannoy, Avereigh Levindoski, Zadie Culkin and Evan Osgood. The sea-coast villagers are Alexis Bellinger, Jacob Hussmann, Bailey Johnson, Katie Lackey, Maya Moody, Logan Prouty, Sophia Rogers and Parker Wisel.
Tour actor Andrew Coopman will play Long John Silver while serving as co-director with fellow tour actor and co-director Alex Kowalchik.
Final performances of "Treasure Island" will be presented at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday, at the Troy Jr./Sr. High School Memorial Auditorium. Tickets are available at the door.
All MCT shows are original adaptations of classic children's stories and fairy tales.
