MANSFIELD - John C. Adams has been named vice president for finance and administration at Mansfield University.
"In this role, John will lead and direct multiple departments including the controller's office, budget planning, student financial services, purchasing, physical plant, campus technologies, environmental health and safety, athletics and police services and safety," MU President Fran Hendricks said in making the announcement.
Adams comes to MU after more than two years as vice president for budget and planning at Cornell University. Prior to that, he spent four years as vice president for finance and administration at North Dakota State University.
He holds master's degree in business administration from The College of William and Mary and also a master's degree in Biology from the University of Michigan.
Adams was selected after a national search and will begin his duties at Mansfield on Aug. 7.
