Charles A. Yaw, 52, of Montoursville, died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the Williamsport Hospital.
Born July 17, 1960, in Williamsport, he was a son of the late Cleon and Stella Perry Yaw.
Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea.
Charles was a graduate of Lycoming College and Marywood University. He had worked for Susquehanna Health System and Crossroads Counseling as a social worker. Charles enjoyed hunting, woodworking and guns.
Surviving are his children, Justin Yaw of N.C. and Amanda White of Jersey Shore; a step-daughter, Cynthia Brennan of Proctor; a brother, James S. Yaw of Montoursville and 10 grandchildren, Martin Utter, Joseph, Andrew, and Deanna Brennan, Morgan, Kaia, and Justin H. Yaw, Noel Livermore, Madison and Mikayla White.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Cleon G. and Kim E. Yaw.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2013, at 1 p.m. at Northway Presbyterian Church, 1520 Northway Road, Williamsport, with Rev. R Kenneth Weiss officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
Arrangements are entrusted to Sanders Mortuary, 821 Diamond St., Williamsport.
