Cynthia R. Hauser, 57, of Maple St., Jersey Shore, died Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at The Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital.
Born Nov. 1, 1955, in Williamsport, she was a daughter of David and June (Smith) Fink.
Cindy was a 1973 graduate of Jersey Shore High School. She attended Fairplay Gospel Church, Jersey Shore, and enjoyed working in her flower garden and oil painting. Cindy's love and devotion for her family was shown by raising her children and home schooling them. In doing so, she became an advocate for home schooling on the local and state levels.
Surviving in addition to her mother of Williamsport, are her husband of 38 years Kevin R. Hauser; three children, Michael R. Hauser (Jasmine) of Dunmore, Amanda R. Melody (Sean) of Raleigh, N.C., and Elizabeth R. McInnis (Josh) of Raleigh, N.C.; five grandchildren, Brendan and Adara Hauser, and Genevieve, Abigail, and Evangeline Melody; three sisters, Linda Schuler of Collomsville, Sandy Skvarka of Montgomery, and Lori Hamraz of Brentwood, Calif. and a brother, David Fink of Williamsport.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 12, at Knight-Confer Funeral Home, 1914 Memorial Ave., Williamsport. Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park, Muncy. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday (tonight) at Knight-Confer Funeral Home.
