Supervisors review plan for natural gas fueling station

MANSFIELD - A concept plan for a new Dandy Mini Mart featuring compressed natural gas bays was reviewed by Richmond Township supervisors Tuesday.

The proposed new station is to be located on property along Business Route 15.

No action was taken on the proposed project.

Supervisors also:

Discussed and tabled purchasing speed limit signs for all its roads pending an engineered speed study. There are 60 miles of roads in the township.

Set mobile home park inspections for Aug. 8.

Discussed creating a new meeting room in the township building by utilizing unused garage bays and adding bathrooms for both men and women.

Approved a subdivision for a lot addition from Bud Benson to Bill Robinson for his trucking business along Route 6.

Read a letter from a Westgate Road resident thanking supervisors for installing guardrails along a dangerous stretch of the roadway.

Read letters of thanks from members of the Free Public Library board for the increase in the township's contribution to the library this year.
