Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kindon, Linden, will observe their 40th wedding anniversary today, May 5, 2013.
They were married by the Rev. David Harris at Trinity Lutheran Church, Hughesville. They are members of Pine Street United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Kindon, the former Christine Annette Rogers, is a native of Livingston, Calif. She is the daughter of Lt. Col. Harry L. Rogers Jr., Hughesville, and the late Virginia Cassell Rogers. She graduated from Hughesville High School in 1968. She graduated from Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, in 1972, Bucknell University in 1977 and attended Penn State University. She retired in 2012 from Pennsylvania College of Technology as a adjunct speech instructor after 32 years of service and also was employed by Montoursville Area High School for 35 years.
MR., MRS. ROBERT?KINDON
Mr. Kindon, a native of Philadelphia, is the son of the late Ruth and George Kindon. He graduated from Massanutten Military Academy, Woodstock, Va., in 1968. He attended Susquehanna University, Penn State University, and Pennsylvania College of Technology. He retired in 1998 from Longza after 22 years of service. He is now self-employed.
They are the parents of two sons, Byron Nathaniel, Seattle, Wash., and Robert Joseph, Phoenixville, and three daughters, Christianna Kindon Shork, Las Vegas, Nev.; Kyra, San Francisco, Calif.; and the late Rachel Elizabeth Kindon.
There is one granddaughter.
