Mary L. Kellerman, 88, of Williamsport, died Monday, April 22, 2013, at Sycamore Manor.
Born Dec. 9, 1924, in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Maude (Cramer) Snyder.
Mary's great love was her husband, Howard C. Kellerman, who passed away on July 24, 2012, and her cat Max, who was her only child. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Frances Reeder.
For many years, Mary worked at Williamsport High School as a secretary to the principal. After retirement, she worked hard to support retired teachers in the area; she made centerpieces for their annual banquets.
As an active member of First Presbyterian Church of Williamsport, Mary served at every rummage sale, and was a long time member of the Women's Association and served as president of the group.
Mary enjoyed going to Cape Cod for vacation with other secretaries; she also loved to go to Poconos with her church friends. Mary's hobbies were collecting teddy bears and working on crafts; she liked to travel to various places to find materials for crafts.
Surviving are her brother-in-law, Harry (Audrey) Kellerman Jr.; a niece, Diane Kellerman Richmond; a great-niece, Danielle Richmond; and a great-nephew, Joshua Gilpin.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, at First Presbyterian Church, 102 E. Third St., Williamsport, with the Rev. Sam Hwang officiating. Burial will be private in Jersey Shore Cemetery.
Visitation will be held 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
