Ruby Eleanor Jenkins, 92, of South Williamsport, passed away on April 19, 2013, at Rose View Center, Williamsport.
Ruby was born at Logan Mills. She was the daughter of Robert C. and Florence E. (Weaver) Thomas.
She graduated from the South Williamsport High School. Ruby married her husband, Max Jenkins, in 1942. Together they shared 57 years of marriage.
During the war, Ruby inspected engine parts for Lycoming Motors, and then worked for GTE Sylvania for 32 years.
Ruby was a long time member and attendee of the South Williamsport United Methodist Church.
Ruby is survived by her two daughters and a son: Patricia A. Sydock, Williamsport; Penny DeRemer, Elimsport; and Tom (Gaye) Jenkins, Elimsport.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-greatgrandchild.
Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; her late husband, Max; her sister, Dorothy Borger; and two brothers, Glenn Thomas and Max Thomas.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, April 25, 2013, from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, South Williamsport.
Funeral services for Ruby Jenkins will be held at Charles M. Noll Funeral Home, April 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. with Rev. Mr. Mark D. Brumbach officiating.
Interment will follow in the Green Lawn Cemetery, Montgomery.
