Dance Society to hold dance
The Susquehanna Ballroom Dance Society will sponsor a St. Patrick's Day ballroom dance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. today at Divine Providence Auditorium, 1100 Grampian Blvd.
The cost is $10 per person which includes snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. The dance is BYOB.
Attire is semi-formal, jacket and tie for men, dress or pant suit for women.
Proceeds will help to benefit the Hospital Auxiliary Center.

Ross Library to hold program
LOCK?HAVEN - To celebrate Women's History Month in March, the Ross Library will be offering a program about a mysterious, ambitious woman.
"The Mystery of Julia Collins" will be held at 11 a.m. today on the third floor of the library, 232 W. Main St.
The event is free and open to the public.
Julia Collins of Lycoming County is known as the earliest African-American female novelist, and wrote the book "The Curse of Caste: or The Slave Bride" serially in the newspapers. but very little is known about her.
Researchers Mary Sieminski and Jane Luther have studied her life, and they will be coming to speak about what has been discovered, and what is still unknown.

Williamsport Lions to hold pancake brunch
The Williamsport Lions Club's annual spring pancake and sausage brunch will be held 7:30 a.m. to noon Sunday at the St. John Neumann Regional Academy elementary gym, 710 Franklin St.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $4 for children under 10 and are available from club members, Leo Club members and Girio Real Estate and Insurance.
Takeouts are available. Proceeds benefit Lion charities.
American Legion to hold breakfast
LOCK?HAEVEN - The Son's of American Legion Squadron 131 will hold a pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday at the Legion, 20 S. Grove St.
The menu will include pancakes, home fries, scrambled eggs and sausage or bacon. Cost is $6 a person.
