Packwood house attic sale winding down
LEWISBURG - Packwood House Museum's Attic Tag Sale is winding down this week.
Prices of items throughout the sale have been marked down.
On Saturday 'Bag Day,' shoppers will be able to fill a store bag the museum provides for $3; anything that doesn't fit into the bag will be half price.
There still is a large selection of books, magazines, tapes and records to choose from, along with office supplies, kitchenware, linens, baskets, tableware and more.
The last days of the sale run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Saturday in the museum's Tour Center at 15 N. Water St.

Garden Club to hold meeting
The Montoursville Garden Club will hold a business meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mon-toursville Presbyterian Church, 900 Elm St.
The program for the meeting will be a power point presentation about 'The Eastern Bluebird' presented by nationally known couple, Fay and Dick Hess, of Bloomsburg.
Hostess for the meeting will be Carol Sullivan assisted by her committee, Joyce Geiser, Jan Rebuck and Barb Schreiner. Guests are welcome.
Masonic family to hold fish fry
The Masonic family of Jersey Shore, 201 S Main St., will be holding Friday Fish Fry March 15, 22 and 29.
Dinners will be served between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Cost is $9 for adults and $6 for children under 10.
Dinner menu includes tossed salad or cole slaw, baked or fried fish, mac and cheese or stewed tomatoes, and coffee, tea or water.
'Spike Out Inequality' volleyball tournament
LOCK?HAVEN - The Beta Eta chapter of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity will be hosting the 'Spike Out Inequality' volleyball tournament from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Student Recreation Center at Lock Haven University. All proceeds benefit the Keystone Central School District.
It is $5 per player and $35 per team (6 players and one alternate) to play in the tournament. There also will be raffles including a 50-50 and gift certificates from the local businesses of Lock Haven. Tee-shirts will be available to purchase for $10 each. Dinner to benefit Relay For Life
A turkey and biscuit dinner will be offered from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Friday at St. John Lutheran Church, 209 S. Broad St., Jersey Shore. Take outs will be available. Cost is by donation, which will benefit the Relay For Life, St. John Team.
Kiwanis to hold breakfast buffet
The Kiwanis Club of Williamsport will be holding a buffet style pancake breakfast 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church 'Christian Life Center,' 601 Market St. Menu will include pancakes with blueberries, sausage, sausage gravy, applesauce and beverages. Adults are $8, Children 2 to 12 years are $4 and children under 2 years eat free. Benefits Kiwanis charities.
