Ecumenical luncheon

United Churches Wednesday noon ecumenical lunches are held each week of the school year at Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St. This Wednesday The Rev. Larry Waltz, a retired American Baptist pastor, will discuss "And God said, 'Hummingbirds are now winter birds in Lycoming County.' " A serving of a catered $6 lunch begins at 11:45 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. Free parking is available in the lot north of the church. Although reservations are not needed, it is helpful if those not regular attendees would call United Churches at 322-1110 to let the caterer know how many to prepare for.

Devotion line

The United Churches telephone devotion line is available 24 hours a day by calling 322-5762. The devotionalist next week will be Sandy Grier, a member of Church of the Savior Lutheran, 522 Grier St.
