Revitalize Montgomery to hold meeting
Revitalize Montgo-mery will be holding a meeting 10 a.m. Wedne-sday at the Montgomery Borough office, 35 S. Main St. There will be discussion and planning for the 'Montgomery Gateway Tree Planting' that will take place in March. The Susquehanna Greenway Partnership will be presenting a conceptual plan for the improvements and vision for the future of Montgomery. Everyone is invited to attend.
Spaghetti dinner benefit
Matthew's Park is having a spaghetti dinner fundraiser from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Lycoming Christian Chu-rch, 20 Chapel hill Road, Linden. Tickets are $8 per person and kids 5 years and under eat free. Takeout will be available. All proceeds will be used to purchase new playground equipment for Matthew's Park. Antique show and sale
An antique show and sale sponsored by the General John Burrows Historical Society, Montoursville, will take place 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at Lyter Elementary School in Montoursville.
Countryside Contra Dancers dance
LEWISBURG - The Countryside Contra Dancers will hold a Contra Dance from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. March 9 at the Donald Heiter Comm-unity Center, 100 N. Fifth St.Ted Crane will be calling, with music by Total Hip Replacement. New England Contra Dance is a traditional dance form rooted in Irish, English and Scottish jigs, reels and waltzes. All dances are taught and called, with the basic figures taught from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Newcomers of all ages are welcome, with or without a partner. Please wear comfortable clothes and soft soled, non-marking shoes. Admission is $8 for Adults, 18 and under are free and $5 for students with current ID. Under 16 must be accompanied by a guardian. American Legion to hold singles dance
LEWISBURG - The New Horizons for Singles dance will be held March 9 at the American Legion. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with dancing from 7 to 10:30 p.m. with Power House Sound System. Vision and Learning Center workshop
