Margaret "Peg" A. Foster, 97, of Montoursville, died on Feb. 22, 2013, at Valley View Nursing Center.
She was born Aug. 19, 1915, in Williamsport, the daughter of Earl and Leora Forney Fromm.
She retired from the former C.A. Reed, was a member of Brethren in Christ Church, Messiah Sr. Citizens in South Williamsport and the Blind Association Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, was a friend to everyone, and a wonderful mother.
Preceding her was her husband, Theodore J. Foster; a son, David I.; and a sister, Helen Springman.
Surviving is a son, Theodore E. (Christie) Foster of Punta Gorda, Fla.; a daughter, Patty L. English of Montoursville; a cousin, Ted Thompson of Williamsport; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Spitler Funeral Home, 733 Broad St., Montoursville, with Rev. Eric H. Hartshaw officiating.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m.
