Dorothy E. Sember, 79, of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 4, 1933, in Williamsport, the daughter of George and Ruth (Ocker) Kreidler.
Dorothy was the wife of William J. Sember with whom she shared 57 years of marriage.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Dorothy loved golf, hunting and fishing.
She was a member of the White Deer Golf course and various golf leagues.
Surviving are her husband, William; her seven children, Jim (Marion) Sember of Burlington, Wis., Kathy (Wayne) Lois of Mukwonago, Wis., Steve (Kim) Sember of North Rose, N.Y., Tina (Morris) Tuttle of Seneca Falls, N.Y., Paul Sember of Endicott, N.Y., Mark (Karen) Sember of Milford, Mich., Andrew (Jamie) Sember of Plymouth, Wis.; 26 grandchildren and two great-granddaughters; two sisters, Louise (Harry) Hemsley and Janet White, and two brothers, Robert (Ann) Ocker and George (Virla) Ocker, all of Williamsport.
Relatives and friends are invited to Dorothy's Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 5973 Jacks Hollow Road, Williamsport, with her grandsons, Rev. Benjamin Sember and Rev. Joel Sember celebrants. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 W. Fourth St., Williamsport.
