Announcement has been made of the engagement of Laura Sarginger and Matthew Leonard, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.
A May 11 wedding in Elizabethtown is being planned.
Sarginger is the daughter of Susan and Richard Sarginger, Pennsdale. She graduated from Muncy High School in 2001 and received a bachelor's degree in communications design from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, in 2006. She is employed by Lyndsey Hamilton Events, New York City, N.Y., as an event planner.

Leonard is the son of Deborah and Charles Leonard, Muncy. He graduated from Muncy High School in 2001 and received a bachelor's degree in architecture from Philadelphia University in 2006. He is employed by Francis Cauffman, New York City, as a project designer.
